Job summary

SPS PoolCare is seeking a Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee in Surprise, AZ. You will assist experienced technicians in cleaning and maintaining client pools and facilities, learning proper chemical treatment and water-quality practices.

The role requires lifting up to 80 pounds and performing routine maintenance tasks; training is provided on site to develop technical and customer-service skills for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related pool maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret water analysis readings and data.
• Physical ability to perform routine pool cleaning tasks and lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pool Maintenance Specialist to clean and maintain filled pools and facilities.
• Periodically assist with deep cleaning including brushing and scrubbing walls and surfaces.
• Test pool water for pH, chlorine and contaminants; record results.
