Terry’s Pools in Tallahassee, FL is hiring a Pool Maintenance Technician. This full-time, entry-level role involves performing pool cleaning, chemical testing, and basic maintenance on customer sites with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Entry level; no prior experience required
• Valid US Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to swim proficiently
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Experience with pool equipment/troubleshooting preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle to customer locations and load/unload tools
• Test and adjust pool chemicals to balance pH, salt, and chlorine levels
• Clean pools and remove debris, clear skimmer baskets
• Brush and vacuum pools; follow established procedures
• Maintain pumps, chlorinators, heating and filtration equipment
• Order and stock chemicals, parts, and supplies
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment in good condition
• Record completed work and maintain schedules and logs
• Perform related duties as assigned

Terry's Pools is seeking a trainable, dependable, motivated Pool Maintenance Technician. You'll receive paid training, locally assigned routes, great benefits and resources to advance your career. This is a full-time, entry level position reporting to the Tallahasseearea Monday-Friday.

Our main objectives are to provide consistent, top-notch pool services to our customers and provide opportunities for technicians to develop professionally. This is an hourly position with no selling required; just cleaning and maintaining the pools!

Responsibilities

• Driving the company vehicle to the customer's location, loading and unloading tools as needed.
• Monitor, diagnose and correct chemical levels for swimming pools by testing swimming pool water pH, salt or chlorine levels and adding chemicals to correct pH level.
• Performs cleaning of swimming pools and clearing debris in a safe and sanitary condition, including clearing Skimmer baskets.
• Brush and vacuum swimming pool according to established procedures.
• Check and perform preventative maintenance on pumps, chlorinators, heating and filtration equipment to maintain operative condition.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of chemicals, parts and supplies as needed.
• Makes minor adjustments and keeps equipment in great condition.
• Performs heavy manual labor, including operating riptides and vacuums.
• Maintains maintenance records and schedules in Skimmer.
• Maintains log of work completed and orders necessary supplies.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
