Job summary

HES in Orland Park, IL seeks a Pool Maintenance Tech to perform repair work on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and to communicate major failures to the Director. The ideal candidate has pool experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Swimming Pool Maintenance Certification.

This on-site role requires flexibility, the ability to read blueprints and manuals, and the capacity to perform routine maintenance and preventive tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Swimming Pool Maintenance Certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work on HVAC, plumbing and electrical equipment and notify Director of major machinery failures.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics and building automation.
• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance.
