Job summary

Easton Select Group is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support pool maintenance, equipment repairs, and field service operations across a growing multi-brand organization. This role ensures safe, efficient service, balanced water chemistry, and accurate documentation as part of a customer-focused team.

The technician will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and assist with openings/closings, while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of pool systems and equipment operation.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Able to read technical manuals and service instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on pool systems and equipment.
  • Balance water chemistry and monitor system performance during service visits.
  • Communicate maintenance findings and recommendations to customers.
  • Coordinate with Service Managers and Dispatch for scheduling and updates.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environments and follow safety procedures.

Position Overview

Easton Select Group is seeking a dependable and technically skilled Maintenance Technician to support pool maintenance, equipment repairs, and field service operations across a growing multi‑brand organization. This role is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on swimming pools, spas, and related equipment systems.

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining safe, functional, and high‑quality pool environments while delivering exceptional customer service. This position supports operational efficiency by ensuring equipment systems are operating properly, water chemistry is balanced, and service requests are completed accurately and on time.

Pool Maintenance & Equipment Service
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair work on pool systems and related equipment
  • Service and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, plumbing systems, automation controls, and related components
  • Diagnose mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and operational equipment issues and perform repairs as needed
  • Conduct pool openings, closings, and seasonal maintenance activities
  • Ensure all service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
Water Chemistry & System Monitoring
  • Test and balance pool water chemistry including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and related chemical levels
  • Apply chemicals and treatment solutions in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential maintenance or operational concerns proactively
  • Ensure pools meet operational, cleanliness, and safety standards during service visits
Customer Service & Field Support
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding maintenance findings, service recommendations, and repair needs
  • Respond promptly to service requests and maintenance issuesMaintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and operational notes
  • Coordinate with Service Managers, Dispatch, and Operations teams regarding service updates and scheduling needs
  • Support additional field operations and maintenance tasks as assigned
Safety & Operational Compliance
  • Follow OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and operational standards at all times
  • Safely handle pool chemicals, tools, equipment, and service vehicles
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments across all job sites
  • Report operational, equipment, or safety concerns promptly to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with local and company standards related to pool operations and maintenance
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in pool maintenance, field service, or related technical industry preferred
  • Basic knowledge of pool systems, equipment operation, and water chemistry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and service instructions
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or similar industry certification preferred
  • Experience with pool automation systems and advanced water treatment technologies
  • Basic plumbing and electrical repair experience preferred
  • Customer service experience within field service or route‑based environments preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes effectively
