The Invasive Radiological Technologist provides fundamental technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra- and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring, and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for the safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Acts as a patient/family educator, advocate, and liaison.
