The Health Sciences Program in the School of Professional Studies at the University of Kansas Edwards Campus invites qualified scholars and professionals with experience in Health Science, Public Health, or Health Policy and Management/Health Administration to submit applications that will be reviewed by the faculty and placed in a pool for consideration for part time Instructor positions. An Instructor teaches either in-person or online, an undergraduate level course and must possess an advanced degree. Instructors report to the Program Director for Health Sciences.
KU's online Bachelor of Health Sciences is a degree completion program for undergraduate students who have completed an associate's degree or equivalent hours that provides students hoping to enter health science professions the opportunity to strengthen their background in content related to their anticipated healthcare profession. The program also lets students explore elective courses that help them concentrate their knowledge in areas including nutrition, public and population health, and health management and policy.

Instructors are instructional members of the faculty and are not eligible for tenure or promotion in rank. Primary role is instruction with no obligations to perform research or service. Instructors are placed in single term appointments, with renewal based upon unit needs and funding as well as performance that meets expectations, not to exceed two continuous semesters.
This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement between The University of Kansas and United Academics, United Academics of KU, AAUP, or AFT. UAKU is the exclusive representative.
