Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) invites applications for an Adult Hospitalist in the metro Atlanta area. The role supports primary care medical centers with inpatient coverage across Emory St. Joseph's in Sandy Springs and Emory Decatur, among others.

The candidate will join a physician-owned, multi-specialty team serving Kaiser Permanente members. Minimum requirements include MD or DO, board eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds, and Georgia licensure or

Qualifications

• MD or DO required for Georgia licensure eligibility.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Currently licensed or able to obtain license in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist coverage at Emory St. Joseph's (Sandy Springs) and Emory Decatur as part of the core team.
• Cover CDU/24-hour observation units and a variety of shifts (rounders, admitters, nocturnists).
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to Kaiser Permanente members.
• Participate in team-based care and maintain accountability to patients and the organization.

What You Can Expect

• Per diem positions available. Minimum of 4 shifts per month requried.
• Our core hospitals are Emory St. Joseph's in Sandy Springs and Emory Decatur
• Our hospitalists also provide coverage for our Clinical Decision Units (CDUs), 24-hour observation units, at three of our medical centers - Duluth, Kennesaw and Jonesboro
• Shifts include rounders, admitters, nocturnists and CDUists.

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Med/Peds
• Currently licensed or able to obtain license in the State of Georgia
