Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Pool Food & Beverage Manager for the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

Responsibilities

1. Ensures that all pool operations are in accordance with Omni policies, including the safety and security of our guests and associates.
2. Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of Splashtopia, Azure, and any new pools.
3. Maintain staffing levels of all Pool Operations and oversee all hiring and training.
4. Responsible for the revenue of Cabanas and Recreation.
5. Meet regularly with the Supervisors to review incidents, current issues, and keep Leadership informed on major incidents.
6. Enforce all Resort rules, regulations, and the Resort’s standards of conduct.
7. Schedule monthly trainings and tests to ensure that all pool attendant staff are ready and prepared for any type of emergency.
8. Maintain payroll daily; punch edits, time adjustments.
9. Ensure monthly deadlines are met regarding activity guides and training.
10. Spend time on the pool deck assisting with daily duties as needed, maintaining organization of chairs, picking up pool towels, helping move umbrellas, picking up trash, assisting in activities, lifeguards, etc.
11. Perform additional tasks assigned by your supervisor based on business levels.
12. Be flexible to assist other operational departments within the food and beverage division based on seasonality and business levels.

Qualifications

1. Hospitality management experience preferred.
2. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Office programs.
3. Ability to read English, analyze, and interpret general business reports and standards of procedures, as well as governmental regulations.
4. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Problem resolution and implementation.

8. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include good hearing ability, ability to hear alarms and distinguish sounds.
9. While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
10. The Associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
