Job Description: Pool Construction Specialist

Work Environment: Some time in the office, but mostly working directly with clients.

Job Purpose:

The sales team acts as a liaison to customers during their pool buying process, representing the core values of Premier and fulfilling responsibilities to both customers and the company. Responsibilities include setting appointments, meeting with potential customers, designing, pricing, and presenting pool designs or bids, and closing sales. Salespeople generate profitable bids and provide a complete contract packet upon sale closure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct “Design Consultations” with customers to explain features and merits of pool ownership (see sales manual).
  2. Assess customer needs and design backyard pools using professional pool design software or hand drawings.
  3. Follow up with customers through scheduled appointments.
  4. Conduct “Design Presentations” to explain the company’s process and differentiate our services, using the presentation binder (see sales manual).
  5. Secure customer commitment for pool and backyard construction projects.
  6. Provide completed contract packets for approval by the business manager.
  7. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, home shows, and telemarketing when requested.
  8. Attend weekly construction and sales meetings.
  9. Be present during the Day of Dig and Day of Gunite to guide customers and construction managers through job phases.
  10. Provide weekly updates to customers on job status.
  11. Build and maintain referral relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Prior commission sales experience preferred.

  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Pool Studio.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
Compensation:

$600-$1,000/week guaranteed training pay for the first 8 weeks. Transition to 100% commission with 5.5% per pool sale afterward.
