Job summary

Leslie's in Katy, TX is seeking a Pool Technician to clean and maintain residential and commercial pools, ensure water quality, and keep pool areas safe and orderly.

Responsibilities include weekly pool route maintenance, testing water, balancing chemicals, backwashing filters, communicating with customers, and accurate record-keeping. Pay ranges $18.41-$21.63 per hour with company training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean M.V.R.
• Pool experience preferred, but willing to train.
• Must have physical ability to lift 50+ lb.
• Ability to work outside for long periods of time, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Be dependable, reliable, responsive, problem solver and detail oriented.
• Pass a drug screen & background check.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pool route each week with regular pool maintenance which includes, testing and maintaining water quality, adjusting pool sanitation levels, cleaning and backwashing filters, brushing and vacuuming pools, cleaning tiles, and other similar activities.
• Remove debris from pool surface and floor, balance chemicals, and oversee the general upkeep of all pool equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees in order to best serve the customer.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
• Must be professional, helpful, courteous and provide the highest quality of service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and maintain clean jobsites.
• Maintain accurate records & company forms.
