Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Florida is seeking a friendly hospitality professional to maintain pool dining areas and deliver outstanding service to our guests. You will act as an advocate for the restaurant and pool area, creating ridiculously personal experiences and building relationships that encourage guests to return.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Knowledge or ability to learn the restaurant point-of-sale system.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Hardworking, dedicated with a passion for hospitality.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean dining areas at the pool and serve guests with outstanding service.
• Act as an advocate for the restaurant and pool area, creating personal guest experiences.
• Develop relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
• We wear multiple hats and may take on additional responsibilities as needed.

What You'll Do

Maintain clean dining areas at the pool by bussing tables, lounge chairs, and cabanas in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner all the while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way. Act as an advocate for the restaurant and pool area, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Clean and set tables to restaurant standards.
• Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish-room or specified area.
• Pull dirty plates from dining areas while guests are still seated.
• Serve beverages promptly.
• Stock bussing stations.
• Clean stations, including sweeping the floor and cleaning up spills using the tools provided.
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary such as expediting food to tables.
• Attend all company and restaurant required trainings and meetings.
• We all wear multiple hats here at Kimpton. You may need to take on responsibilities outside of this job description at times, as we all do.

What You Bring

• 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Knowledge or ability to learn the restaurant point-of-sale system, ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
