Pool Attendant (Seasonal) Sombra + Cantina - Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club (Finance)

The award-winning AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is seeking a Pool Attendant to join the Recreation team.

Located in Dana Point, adjacent to Laguna Beach, this resort offers a laid-back vibe and active lifestyle, with 175 acres atop a seaside bluff, over 400 rooms, and numerous dining and recreational outlets.

• Classification: Seasonal
• Shift: Various; must be available to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests and attending to pool-related needs such as providing towels, relocating chairs/umbrellas, and issuing recreational equipment.
• Cleaning the pool area, including furniture, tiles, decks, and cabanas.
• Replenishing pool towels and monitoring inventory.
• Maintaining equipment like umbrellas, speakers, and pool toys.
• Monitoring the facility for hazards and addressing guest inquiries promptly.
• Performing general recreation duties as needed.
