Great opportunity ahead! Work with one of our partnered resort in South Carolina — The Palmetto Bluff. The resort is situated along the May River in the Lowcountry of South Carolina between Hilton Head Island and Savannah — and they are looking for a Pool Attendant.

Job Title: Pool & Fitness Attendant
Department: Pools
Reports To: Club Manager
Pay Rate: USD 15/hr $22.50/ hr
Job Status: Seasonal

Job Summary:
The Pool & Fitness Center Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe pool and fitness center environment for members to enjoy. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company’s goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Effectively and efficiently handle member and guest requests.
  2. Maintain & organize facility linen needs.
  3. Ensure the pool and fitness center area is kept clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
  4. Greet all guests in your section with towels and water.
  5. Complete opening & closing procedures for the Pool & Fitness Department.
  6. Complete set up and breakdown of all service cabanas as designated by management.
  7. Conduct walk-throughs of pool and fitness center area to ensure it is impeccable.
  8. Ensure all chairs are in a clean and orderly fashion.
  9. Inspect entire pool area, replacing any missing items and/or repairing (when possible) any items needing attention (e.g., umbrellas, chairs, menu holders, flags).
  10. Complete daily departmental procedures.
  11. Relay accurate information to members and guests.
  12. Assist with inventories and reconciliation.
  13. Monitor pool capacity and ensure proper ID card is used to access the pool area.

Qualifications:
● Hotel, resort, or club experience preferred.
● Must have the ability to provide the highest level of customer service in the industry.
● Strong interpersonal skills; team-oriented.
● Must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
