As part of Troon / Cliff Drysdale Management, you will contribute to a global leader in racquet sports, golf, hospitality, and community management.
We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and service-oriented individual who is eager to contribute to an exceptional member and guest experience while supporting the daily operation, presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the club’s pool area.
Position Overview
The Pool Attendant plays an important role in maintaining a welcoming, well-organized, and professionally presented pool environment. This position requires an individual who is attentive, proactive, comfortable working outdoors, and committed to providing excellent hospitality.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Previous experience in hospitality, private clubs, resorts, hotels, pools, recreation, or customer service is preferred.
Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, organization, and detail.
Friendly, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.
Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with members, guests, co-workers, and management.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to recognize operational needs and take appropriate action without requiring constant direction.
Ability to remain active, attentive, and service-focused throughout the scheduled shift.
Ability to communicate effectively in English as necessary to perform the essential functions of the position and communicate with members, guests, and team members.
Availability to work flexible schedules based on club operations, which may include weekends and holidays.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The position regularly requires:
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
Standing and walking for extended periods.
Reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling while performing pool-deck duties.
Setting up and repositioning pool chairs, umbrellas, towels, supplies, and related equipment.
Safely lifting and carrying supplies and equipment consistent with the requirements of the position.
Moving throughout the pool deck and adjacent club areas during the scheduled shift.
