Job summary

The Seagate in Delray Beach, FL, seeks a Beach Attendant to warmly greet guests, set up beach and pool amenities, and maintain clean, welcoming outdoor spaces. You will assist with seating, towel service, and service of food and beverages, while ensuring safety and great guest experiences throughout the day.

Ideal candidates are energetic, dependable, and guest-focused, with strong communication. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous hospitality, resort, beach, pool, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and members in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Set up and arrange beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, towels, and other guest amenities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and organization of all beach and pool areas.
  • Assist guests with seating, towel service, equipment requests, and general inquiries.
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in accordance with service standards.
  • Monitor guest areas and promptly report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
  • Maintain inventory and proper storage of beach and pool equipment.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, including daily setup and breakdown activities.
  • Provide information regarding resort amenities, services, and recreational activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, sun, and wind.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely handle beach and pool equipment, chairs, umbrellas, and guest amenities.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of guests and surrounding activities to ensure a safe environment.
  • Manual dexterity required to operate equipment and perform job-related tasks.
