Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts, Inc. is seeking a Pool Attendant to maintain a clean, organized pool environment and support guest services. You will ensure high standards of presentation, assist with opening/closing duties, and help the team deliver a seamless hospitality experience.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced setting. Evening and weekend availability is preferred, with benefits and employee discounts available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, lounge areas, cabanas, and restrooms.
• Sanitize pool furniture and guest touchpoints.
• Collect towels, trash, and debris; restock supplies as needed.
• Arrange lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas per standards.
• Monitor pool environment for safety and presentation.
• Report maintenance hazards or safety concerns immediately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties for pool operations.
• Support F&B and guest services with light tasks when needed.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with pool safety and sanitation standards.

We are seeking a Pool Attendant who takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and elevated outdoor guest environment. This role matters because the condition and presentation of the pool area directly impact the guest experience and overall perception of the property. Through attention to detail, proactive cleanliness efforts, and a strong sense of urgency, this individual helps ensure guests can relax and enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained atmosphere. The Pool Attendant supports the overall success of pool operations by maintaining high presentation standards and assisting the team in delivering seamless hospitality experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, lounge areas, cabanas, towel stations, restrooms, and surrounding recreational spaces.
• Routinely clean and sanitize pool furniture, tables, railings, and guest touchpoints.
• Collect and remove used towels, trash, dishes, and debris throughout the pool area.
• Restock towels, amenities, cleaning supplies, and guest service items as needed.
• Arrange and reset lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas according to property standards.
• Monitor the pool environment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or cleanliness issues to leadership immediately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties for pool operations.
• Support food and beverage or guest service teams with light operational assistance when needed.
• Maintain awareness of guest activity and respond professionally to guest requests or concerns.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and company operational standards.
• Maintain positive and professional interactions with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
• Assist with special events, cabana preparation, and seasonal operational needs as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with all pool safety and resort cleanliness standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
