Department: Athletics
The Athletics Department oversees intercollegiate sports, including four men's teams and six women's teams, and is part of NCAA Division II competing in the CCAA. The department handles public relations, sports info, athletic training, fundraising, scheduling, and recruitment, emphasizing academic standards and personal growth of student-athletes.
Under supervision, the Athletic Trainer I performs clinical athletic training functions, including planning, organization, and delivery of athletic training services to students involved in athletics. Duties include injury prevention, assessment, rehabilitation, emergency coverage, record keeping, and collaboration with health professionals and coaching staff.
