Faena Hotels & Residences is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Server to deliver meals and beverages in guest lounges at the Pool & Beach area. You will assist with maintaining service standards, restocking, and ensuring exceptional hospitality for guests at the pool and cabanas.

Responsibilities include mastering liquor regulations, handling openings and closings, and collaborating with team members to provide seamless service while preserving the Faena guest experience.

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment use and safety; use equipment as intended.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.
• Be familiar with hotel services/features and local attractions to respond to inquiries.
• Know liquor regulations and responsible service, including prohibitions on minors and intoxicated persons.
• Complete opening and closing side duties as assigned.
• Retrieve alcoholic beverages and serve to guests.
• Open and serve wine/champagne bottles; make all varieties of coffee.
• Serve all food courses and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Guide Bus person to ensure optimum service.
• Clear each course and reset tables promptly.
• Extend appreciation for guest patronage and invite them to return.

JOB OVERVIEW

Deliver food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest lounges according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Also assists in the maintenance and re-stocking of Pool & Beach food and beverage areas (service huts, breakdown stations and kitchen runner’s station).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Maintain complete knowledge of:
  • Lounge & Cabana numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up and dress code of the Pool & Beach.
  • All liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes in the Pool & Beach.
  • The particular characteristics and description of every food and beverage item on the Pool & Beach menu.
  • All menu items, prices, preparation method/time, major ingredients and quality standards, taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, garnish and method of presentation.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and driving while under the influence.
• Complete opening and closing side duties as assigned.
• Retrieve all alcoholic beverage items from bar and serve to guest.
• Open and serve wine/champagne bottles.
• Make all varieties of coffee.
• Serve all food courses and non-alcoholic beverage items to the guest.
• Guide the activities of the assigned Bus person to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Clear each course.
• Remove soiled wares from areas as assigned and transport to stewarding area.
• Extend appreciation for guest patronage and invite them to return.
• Clean and reset tables immediately after guest departs.
