Job summary

The Seagate in Delray Beach, FL seeks a Pool and Beach Attendant to greet guests and ensure a welcoming outdoor experience. This role focuses on setting up chairs, umbrellas, towels, and amenities while keeping beach and pool areas clean and organized throughout the day.

You will assist guests with seating, towel service, and equipment requests, deliver items per standards, and coordinate with teams to guarantee a seamless guest experience. Flexibility and a guest-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospitality or pool experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Set up beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other guest amenities.
• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and organization of all beach and pool areas.
• Assist guests with seating, towel service, equipment requests, and general inquiries.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in accordance with service standards.
• Monitor guest areas and promptly report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Maintain inventory and proper storage of beach and pool equipment.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including daily setup and breakdown activities.
• Provide information regarding resort amenities, services, and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with associates and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

The Pool and Beach Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for members and guests at The Seagate beach and pool facilities. This position is responsible for setting up and maintaining guest amenities, ensuring the beach and pool areas remain clean and organized, and providing exceptional service throughout the day. Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, sun, and wind.

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and reach frequently.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely handle beach and pool equipment, chairs, umbrellas, and guest amenities.
• Ability to maintain awareness of guests and surrounding activities to ensure a safe environment.
• Manual dexterity required to operate equipment and perform job-related tasks.
