Work performed primarily in an outdoor setting, moderate noise; climb or balance, stoop, kneel,
crouch or crawl, reach with hands and arms, and taste or smell up to 1/3 rd of the time; walk or
use hands up to 2/3 rd of the time; and stand, talk or listen/hear more than 2/3 rd of the time;
frequently lift up to 50lbs., at times up to 100 lbs. Equipment used includes, hand tools, leaf
blower, power washer, wet and dry vac, rakes, drainage pump/hoses.
A candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid MA driver’s license.
Candidates must have the ability and endurance to lift heavy objects repeatedly and be able to
work in all kinds of weather. A basic knowledge of plants and pond maintenance is desirable.
Good interpersonal skills and a good ability to work with the public are required.
Preston Ponds is now hiring for Koi Pond Maintenance with immediate openings. Enjoy working in an outdoor setting, surrounded by nature, while learning new skills and knowledge pertaining to customers' unique water features. The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and work well with others. The candidate will be required to be physically capable of moving in or around Koi ponds and will be required to work in wet weather conditions with provided gear. A valid MA driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent are required.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining customers’ unique water garden features as
directed by supervisor.
Responsible for daily customer service correspondence including communicating daily
eta, and summary of daily jobsite visit.
Be able to work in extreme weather conditions and varied hours due to seasonality of
business.
Oversees van’s readiness and that equipment and supplies are stocked as well as
maintain that phone is charged and functional
Works in a manner which respects customers’ property and Company equipment.
Follows direction and is flexible due to the unique nature of each individual job and
jobsite
Maintains Company standards at all times.
