Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks an experienced POMS MES Techno-Functional SME to support, configure, and implement MES solutions across pharmaceutical sites in a GxP-regulated environment. You will bridge business stakeholders, operations, and IT to improve manufacturing performance.

The role requires deep MES expertise, CSV validation familiarity, and strong collaboration across global teams. Albany, NY or remote with travel to sites may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 8–12 years of Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing POMS MES solutions.
• Solid understanding of MES concepts, EBR, batch execution, and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience in GxP-regulated environments.
• Experience supporting MES implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support.
• Ability to review and interpret functional and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and IT stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into MES functional specifications, solution designs, and implementation strategies.
• Lead requirements workshops, discovery sessions, fit-gap analyses, design reviews, and UAT.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to optimize production workflows using POMS MES.
• Align MES solutions with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Support process harmonization across manufacturing sites.
