Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Machine Operator in Carmel, IN to operate polyurethane injection molding equipment, monitor quality, and support efficient molding operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

You will follow production procedures, inspect products, perform routine machine checks, and maintain production records while upholding quality and safety standards. The role requires mechanical aptitude and dependable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend polyurethane casting machines to mold or cast plastic parts.
• Maintain safety, quality and efficiency standards.
• Coat dies with parting agent per work orders.
• Position and secure assembled mold and components.
• Activate machine to inject dies and cure products.
• Remove cured products from mold and inspect for defects.
• Document production and traceability for parts produced or scrapped.
• Monitor setup and operations to avoid defects.
