Job summary

Staffmark Group in Carmel, IN is hiring a Machine Operator to operate and monitor production equipment, assemble parts, and help maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading work instructions, basic mechanical skills, and a safety-focused mindset; the shift is Mon-Fri, 3:30pm–12:00am, with starting pay of $16.50 per hour and a path toward increased responsibilities. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures and assembles products as instructed.
• Completes productivity and quality records as required.
• Provides a great level of attention to detail and focus on manufacturing high quality product safely and efficiently.
• Follows all company rules and policies, all safety rules and quality standards.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
