  • Independently performs diagnostic polysomnographic testing and scoring.
  • Monitors patient understanding and compliance with testing.
  • Addresses testing quality issues and ensures data accuracy.
  • May assist with orientation of new staff and participate in quality assurance initiatives.

Job Description

Provides polysomnographic testing to patients from newborn to 21 years of age consistent with accepted standards. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Preferred Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

Independently performs diagnostic polysomnographic testing and scoring in accordance with accepted national standards to patients from newborn to 21 years of age, integrating emotional, psychosocial, educational, and growth and development needs of the patient and family. Monitors and appropriately addresses the comprehension, understanding, and compliance of the patient and family with regard to treatment and testing. Identifies and corrects issues with testing technical quality. May assist with orientation of new staff and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
