Job summary

Salinas Valley Health Medical Center's Sleep Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Professional to perform high-quality polysomnography (PSG) and CPAP/BIPAP titrations per AASM standards.

The role requires CA licensure as Polysomnographic Technologist or Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC RRT and RPSGT credentials, BLS, and at least one year in Sleep Medicine; familiarity with EPIC/Meditech is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA-accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• California State Polysomnographic Technologist license or California Respiratory Care Practitioners license required.
• NBRC RRT and RPSGT certifications required.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status required.
• 1 year experience in Sleep Medicine Center or EEG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality polysomnography (PSG) testing per AASM standards.
• Perform CPAP/BIPAP/ASV/AVAP titrations.
• Maintain sleep apnea and titration logs during tests.
• Set up PSG monitors and related equipment.
• Document patient events in EPIC/Meditech with accurate charting.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
