Job summary

Bethany Medical in High Point, NC seeks a part-time Sleep Lab Technician for an overnight shift from 7 pm Saturday to 7 am Sunday. You will perform sleep study testing, data collection, and scoring to support diagnosis of sleep disorders, with independence and strong attention to detail.

The role requires completion of an accredited polysomnography program, with preferred BRPT/RPSGT certification; Bachelor's degree is a plus and experience in a clinical sleep lab is valued.

Bethany Medical, a Multi-Specialty physician practice located in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, North Wilkesboro, and Mt Airy, North Carolina, is seeking a Sleep Lab Technician to work in our High Point/Skeet Club location.

This is an overnight, part-time position. The hours will be from 7 pm on Saturday to 7 am on Sunday. Responsibilities includetechnical, procedural, and problem-solving aspects. Needs to be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to multitask with great attention to detail.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions related to sleep disorders.
• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Performs preparation procedures.
• Performs polysomnographic procedures.
• Performs polysomnographic recording scoring.

Qualifications

• Completing an accredited educational program leads to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience.
• Documented proficiency at all competencies required of a polysomnographic technologist or certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
