Job summary

BETHANY Medical is seeking a Sleep Lab Technician for an overnight, full-time role in High Point, NC. The technician will perform polysomnographic testing, gather patient data, and manage procedures from 7 pm to 7 am across our triad area locations.

The ideal candidate has an accredited polysomnography program and BRPT/RPSGT credentials or equivalent experience, with a preference for applicants holding a bachelor’s degree. State licensure is preferred.

Bethany Medical, a Multi-Specialty physician practice located in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, North Wilkesboro, and Mt Airy, North Carolina, is seeking a Sleep Lab Technician to work in our High Point/Skeet Club location. This is an overnight, full-time position. The hours will be from 7 pm until 7 am. Responsibilities includetechnical, procedural, and problem-solving aspects. Needs to be able to work independently with minimum supervision and have the ability to multitask with great attention to detail.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions related to sleep disorders.
• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Performs preparation procedures.
• Performs polysomnographic procedures.
• Performs polysomnographic recording scoring.

Qualifications

• Completing an accredited educational program leads to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience.
• Documented proficiency at all competencies required of a polysomnographic technologist or certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.

Education

License/Certification
