AdventHealth is seeking a Polysomnography Technician II for PRN nights at their North Pinellas location. This role involves conducting sleep studies, scoring results, and educating patients about sleep disorders. The role you’ll contribute:
Conducts diagnostic and therapeutic testing for all classifications of sleep disorders in accordance with the guidelines established by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the policies and procedures of the Sleep Center. Demonstrates the ability to conduct all types of sleep studies including overnight polysomnography (multiple montages), multiple sleep latency tests, maintenance of wakefulness tests, positive airway pressure titrations, and supplemental oxygen titrations. This may include patient education, application of all sensors for testing, monitoring multiple physiologic data, and medical interventions as needed for treatment and patient safety. Scores all types of sleep studies, using established clinical rules and guidelines. This individual can work independently upon verification of competencies and Board registry by the Director of Sleep, designated trainer, and/or the Medical Director.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· OJT or polysomnography school graduate
· 1 year of polysomnography testing
· RPSGT
· BLS
