Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist to independently perform diagnostic testing and data scoring, ensuring high-quality sleep studies. The role includes supporting and guiding less experienced staff as directed by the Polysomnography Coordinator and Neurology leadership.

Requirements include BRPT certification on hire, a HS diploma or GED, and at least two years in polysomnography or related fields. Some college coursework in sleep medicine is preferred.

Qualifications

• BRPT certification required upon hire.

• 2 years experience in polysomnography/EEG or respiratory therapy.
• Some college coursework in sleep medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:Education

• Some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy. Other health related experience might qualify Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BRPT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Upon Hire Required
