Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to perform diagnostic testing and data scoring with high quality assurance. The role supports other technologists and follows direction from the Polysomnography Coordinator and Medical Director.

Ideal candidates have a GED, some college sleep medicine coursework, and at least 2 years in polysomnography or related fields, plus BRPT certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine preferred.
• 2 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Independently performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and data scoring.
• Helps less experienced technologists with tasks as needed or requested by leadership.
