Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Faculty Group Practice Sleep Technologist (34.5).
In this role, the successful candidate will, under general supervision of the Director, show expertise in performing all aspects of Polysomnography for both clinical and research patients. Responsibilities include managing and monitoring protocol documentation, interfacing with the GCRC and various researchers, preparing quarterly reports on protocol activity, monitoring and ordering lab supplies, and performing other duties as assigned. This position requires good judgment and a professional manner and appearance in interactions with all patients. The technologist will score studies, train assistant sleep technologists in laboratory procedures, and perform other duties as defined in the laboratory manual.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a NYS OP License and current registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist, OR, Registered Respiratory Therapist, OR Respiratory Therapy Technician competent to perform Polysomnographic Technology services. 2 years' experience in Polysomnography or a related field.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $40.46 - $40.47 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
