Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Polysomnographic Technologist to diagnose and treat sleep disorders within a patient-focused team. You’ll perform overnight polysomnography, PAP titration, and split-night studies, applying electrodes and monitoring respiration while ensuring accurate data collection and patient comfort.

Ideal candidates bring an associate degree in Polysomnography, 2+ years of clinical PSG experience, RPSGT certification, and strong communication skills to educate patients

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Polysomnography or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years in a clinical polysomnography setting.
• Proficiency in PAP titration, split-night studies, electrode/sensor application, and respiratory monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity, artifact troubleshooting, calibration and maintenance.
• Excellent patient education and comfort coaching skills.
• Experience with clinical documentation and report generation.
• HIPAA familiarity and patient confidentiality.
• Current RPSGT certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate overnight polysomnograms, including PAP titration and split-night studies.
• Apply electrodes and sensors per published standards.
• Conduct and monitor respiratory monitoring procedures.
• Ensure signal integrity and troubleshoot artifacts during recordings.
• Calibrate equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Educate patients about sleep disorders and provide comfort coaching.
• Generate detailed reports of polysomnographic results.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
