Job description

Polysomnographic Technician – Nights | Flexible Schedule

Pay: $30–$35/hour, plus shift differential of 10–15% per hour
Additional Perk: Weekly earned wage access available

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Polysomnographic Technician to perform sleep studies and support the diagnosis and treatment of patients with sleep disorders. This position primarily works nights, with a flexible schedule designed to accommodate associate needs. You will report to the Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze patient information to tailor testing procedures and determine parameters in collaboration with the ordering physician
  • Prepare, calibrate, and maintain sleep study equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted standards
  • Perform physiologic calibrations for accurate signal recording
  • Conduct positive airway pressure procedures and explain each step to patients
  • Monitor data acquisition during sleep studies to ensure high-quality results
  • Evaluate sleep study equipment and manage inventory
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Polysomnographic Technologist certification (or obtain within one year)
  • CPR certification within 60 days of hire
