You will perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services under physician direction, with emphasis on patient care and education. BRPT RPSGT or equivalent required, along with CPR certification (BLS).

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a Polysomnography program, of no less than one year's duration, associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association).

Description

Due to growth and expansion of services in our sleep center, we are currently adding On Call/Casual .01 FTE at our main St. Paul Campus! As a Polysomnography Technologist II. We are offering 1 shift/week; at least 2 shifts/month. Straight nights,10-12-hour shifts per day. Sunday - Friday.

The Polysomnographic Technologist, a registered RPSGT or RST with a minimum of one-year clinical experience in sleep, provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under the direction of a physician. This includes polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education.

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $34.65/hour to $52.00/hour, with a median wage of $43.33/hour. This position is also eligible for shift differential pay: $3.10/rotating evenings, $4.25/hour for rotating nights, and $4.25/hour for weekends. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity.
