Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in Denville, NJ is seeking a Per Diem Polysomnographic Technician to perform sleep studies and assist in the Sleep Disorder Center. You will conduct diagnostic polysomnograms, CPAP titration, and provide care for adolescent to geriatric patients, with duties including scheduling support and daily operations under the lead.

This role requires a high school diploma, certification as a polysomnographic technologist or respiratory therapist, and BCLS, with 1 year lab experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Polysomnographic Technologist or Respiratory Therapist certification required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintain current.
• Polysomnography or respiratory therapy program preferred.
• BRPT registry eligibility preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year technical experience working in a sleep lab/center preferred.
• Experience scoring sleep studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep data analysis and report generation.
• Conduct diagnostic polysomnograms and titrations (CPAP/BiPAP/oxygen).
• Assist Sleep Center lead with scheduling, phones, and daily operations.

Responsibilities

Polysomnographic Technologist-Level I performs all Sleep Disorder Center procedures, including but not limited to sleep data analysis and report generation, diagnostic polysomnograms, CPAP, Bi level and/or oxygen titration polysomnograms, and Multiple Sleep Latency Tests, in a manner consistent with community and national standards. Assists the Sleep Center lead/director in daily operations of the sleep Disorder Center, including but not limited to scheduling, answering phones, and other duties as directed by the lead or director. May be responsible for staff education and training as needed. Safely manages the environment of care while providing quality services for all customers. Provides physical and supportive care and sleep related health education to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Certified Polysomnographic Technologist or Respiratory Therapist required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) Certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program or respiratory therapy program preferred
• Eligible for registry through the BRPT preferred
• Minimum of 1 year technical experience working in a sleep lab/center preferred
• Experience scoring sleep studies preferred

Pay Transparency

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.00 to $35.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
