Polysomnographic Tech RPSGT / Sleep Tech

About Your Team

Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology, and surgery.

Responsibilities

• Performs various polysomnograms and sleep disorder tests.
• Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients during sleep studies.
• Monitors patients and documents observations throughout the sleep study.
• Collects data from monitors and reports findings to the Medical Director.
• Responsible for CPAP, BiPAP, Servo Titration Studies, and oxygen therapy when applicable.
• Reports directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.
• Scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician Medical Director.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Certification as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT).
• Licensed Sleep Technologist.
• Current CPR (BCLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scoring experience.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
