241 Harbin Clinic, LLC in Rome, GA is seeking a sleep technician to assist in the Sleep Disorder Laboratory. The role requires BRPT registration, CPR certification, and ongoing CEUs while performing PSG studies and CPAP titration.

Responsibilities include patient setup, equipment calibration, artifact-free recording, and maintaining lab inventory. The schedule is 40 hours per week with evening shifts Wednesday through Friday, with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient history and study protocols; ensure proper documentation.
  • Prepare and calibrate sleep lab equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
  • Apply electrodes using the 10-20 system and titrate CPAP/BiPAP/oxygen.
  • Score polysomnography studies per AASM guidelines and support team.
  • Maintain equipment hygiene and inventory; mentor technicians.

Department: 02362 HC Rome MOB 1825 Martha Berry Blvd - Sleep Medicine: Sleep Disorder Laboratory Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Wed - Friday 8p-8a or done with patients. Pay Range $28.55 - $42.85

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • 1. Review history, physical, medications, order, and study protocol.
  • 2. Complete and verify documentation.
  • 3. Prepare and calibrate equipment and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • 4. Apply electrodes and sensors according to the International 10-20 system.
  • 5. Perform routine positive airway pressure mask fitting and titration.
  • 6. Conduct artifact-free studies and make adjustments.
  • 7. Implements appropriate interventions including CPAP, Bi-level, and oxygen administration.
  • 8. Assists with Sleep/Wake stages.
  • 9. Cleans equipment according to protocol.
  • 10. Monitors inventory.
  • 11. Scores polysomnographic studies according to The AASM Manual for the Scoring of Sleep and Associated Events.
  • 12. Serves as a resource for Polysomnographic technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
  • 0. Must be registered by the BRPT.
  • 1. Must obtain 10 CECs in Sleep per year.
  • 2. Must have valid American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Experience:
  • 0. Minimum one year experience with psg and cpap titrations preferred but not required.
