Job summary

Providence/Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Sleep Laboratory professional to perform and score standard and complex sleep studies with minimal supervision.

The role requires BRPT credentials or equivalent, BLS, and clinically relevant polysomnography experience. This is a part-time, on-site position at Covenant Medical Center with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have National Certified Polysomnographic Technician or National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist upon hire.
• Must hold National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Submit a certificate or official correspondence from BRPT or credentialing agency with application.
• Minimum 18 months of clinical polysomnography experience, OR 1 year with BRPT credential in an allied health field.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists Or
• Upon hire: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Complete a minimum of 18 months of clinical experience where the duties performed are primarily polysomnography, OR
• Complete a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience where he duties performed are primarily polysomnography, and the applicant holds a credential in an allied health field accepted by the BRPT (e.g., nursing, respiratory care, electro neuro diagnostics). Applicants MUST submit a copy of a certificate or official correspondence from the credentialing agency with their application.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and Successful completion of an accredited course in polysomnographic testing.
• Associate's Degree Or Continued education involving the basic sciences and 1 year experience in hospital setting or an allied health field.
