Job Description

R&D Technician – Overnight Shift – LOCAL ONLY

Specialty chemical manufacturer seeks an R&D Technician to support the synthesis of new polyester polyol technology and improve existing products, meeting customer needs. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in chemistry or 5 years of chemical manufacturing experience, and be goal-oriented. Our client offers excellent benefits.

The role involves supporting the development of new products or modifications for commercial applications, performing laboratory experiments, documenting findings, and ensuring safety compliance. The candidate must be adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team with diverse backgrounds, always maintaining professionalism and safety standards.

  • Willingness to work overnight shifts.
  • Assist in developing and modifying products based on market and customer needs.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments, including polyester synthesis and application testing.
  • Document results accurately in laboratory notebooks and technical reports.
  • Communicate findings clearly and proactively.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect intellectual property.
  • Participate in safety activities and meetings.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely, ethically, and in compliance with regulations.
