Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field; 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and laboratory procedures.
• Comfortable working with hazardous materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and conducting polymer synthesis experiments.
• Collect, analyze, summarize, and present experimental data.
• Troubleshoot laboratory issues and collaborate with researchers to resolve unexpected results.
• Document findings and recommend improvements to laboratory methods.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, chemical inventory, and supplies.
• Safely handle, store, categorize, and dispose of chemicals.
• Interpret test results and prepare reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Maintain a safe working environment and manage multiple tasks within established deadlines.
