Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. in Reading, PA seeks a Quality Lab Technician to perform laboratory testing on polymer materials, analyze data, and report results to ensure products meet customer specs and ISO 9001 standards.

You will calibrate instruments, support production, and assist with RCA and DMAIC projects, using Excel and ERP systems, while maintaining a safe, organized lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of lab protocols and ISO 9001 preferable.
• Experience performing laboratory testing (physical, mechanical, electrical, ultrasonic).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with Instron, DMA, DSC, TMA, rheology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab testing on polymer materials to support production and meet customer specs.
• Prepare, analyze, and report results ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Inspect and qualify incoming materials and products against requirements.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments for accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment and follow 6S practices.
