Job summary

Qualified Recruiter, LLC seeks a hands-on Lab Technician / Analytical Technician to support analytical testing, polymer characterization, and laboratory operations in Kentucky.

You will perform microscopy, thermal analysis, rheology, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry testing, analyze data, and prepare technical reports. You will also maintain equipment and ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, and VDA standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with microscopy (SEM, EDS, or light microscopy).
• Experience with polymers, plastics, or materials testing.
• Knowledge of FTIR, DSC, TGA, rheology, and analytical chemistry techniques.
• Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with method validation, DOE, and laboratory equipment troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and follow safe chemical handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing, sample preparation, and laboratory procedures.
• Conduct microscopy, thermal analysis, rheology, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry testing.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Perform instrument troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor equipment repairs.
• Follow laboratory SOPs and safety standards.
• Support polymer testing and identify analytical techniques for troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure ISO, ASTM, and VDA compliance.
