Job summary

LANXESS in Chardon, OH is seeking a Regular, on-site team member to operate mixing and packaging equipment following precise formulations and strict safety standards. The role includes input to shift meetings, PPE handling, and production reporting.

You will perform in-process laboratory testing, participate in safety sessions, and support continuous improvement in a busy chemical manufacturing environment while maintaining clean, compliant work areas.

Qualifications

• Operates mixing and packaging equipment per specs.
• Follows safety and environmental rules during production.
• Performs in-process laboratory testing per QC/QA protocol.
• Reports issues and supports shift change reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment per formulation specs and safety standards.
• Keep manufacturing areas clean and organized; promote environmental cleanliness.
• Attend and contribute to shift meetings and safety sessions; provide accurate reporting.
• Review product specs for proper PPE, tools, and material use per checklists.
• Lead quality reviews of equipment operation and production outcomes; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure PPE is available and properly stored; maintain PPE condition.
• Conduct in-process lab testing according to QA protocol.
