Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Aurora, IL is seeking a Polymer Packaging Equipment Technician to keep lines running. You’ll power up production equipment, set job points, and run across extrusion blow molding, extrusion, injection molding, labeling, pad printing, and silk-screening.

Maintain machines, clean filters, perform minor maintenance, verify parts, log data, check samples, troubleshoot, and escalate when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
• Understanding of plastics manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Manual dexterity, precision, and strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Power up and set production equipment; confirm all machine set points match the job.
• Run and rotate across systems: extrusion blow molding, extrusion, injection blow molding, injection molding, labeling, pad printing, and silk-screening.
• Keep machines healthy: clean filters, perform minor maintenance, and monitor purges.
• Log production/quality data and verify part numbers; document checks.
• Check samples while the line runs; adjust process settings to meet specs.
• Troubleshoot issues; document problems, causes, and fixes; escalate to maintenance when needed.
