Job summary

Qnity (HD Microsystems joint venture) seeks a Process Engineer to support polyimide resin production, drive continuous improvement, and lead quality investigations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and process reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Joining HD Microsystems (HDM) under the Qnity umbrella, you will contribute to scale-ups, plant trials, and capital projects, while maintaining safety and environmental standards in Parlin, NJ.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Six Sigma trained and SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advanced troubleshooting for polyimide resin production.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, environmental compliance, reliability, capacity, and uptime.
• Act as the Management of Change lead for the area.
• Use Six Sigma to implement programs to improve quality and product performance at customers.
• Lead quality investigations, as assigned, from customer complaints or defects.
• Provide technical link between Business, Quality and R&D.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
