Job summary

Norplex Inc. is seeking a Packer to safely and efficiently package finished polyethylene film products according to customer specifications and company standards. This role ensures product quality during final handling, labeling, and preparation for storage or shipment.

You will support production flow in a fast-paced plastics environment, inspect for defects, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety procedures including PPE and 5S to minimize waste and downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or packing experience preferred.
• Experience in plastics or extrusion environment is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills including counting and simple measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Package polyethylene film products according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Apply labels, tags, and identification markings to finished goods.
• Palletize finished products safely for transport or storage.
• Perform visual inspections for defects and ensure quality packaging.
• Maintain packing areas organized and stocked to support production flow.
• Follow safety policies, wear PPE, and keep work area clean and safe.
