Job summary

Global Strategy Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Marketing Manager who lives and breathes Democratic politics to drive the firm’s political marketing and new business efforts. The role blends content, narrative development, and cross-channel execution across social, website, email, and events.

You will shape thought leadership, elevate pollsters and research, and coordinate proposals and pitches while maintaining organized core materials for quick access.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Democratic politics, political research/polling, political media, advocacy, or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of Democratic politics and polling.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Highly proactive and resourceful; able to own projects from idea to completion.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong visual and storytelling instincts; experience with presentations and external content.
• Collaborative and low-ego; able to work with senior leaders and researchers.
• Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Own GSG Political’s content calendar and marketing execution across social media, website, email, and other channels.
• Manage the GSG Political website; keep content current and relevant.
• Develop and promote thought leadership content across earned, paid, social, email, and digital channels; ensure brand consistency.
• Maintain and evolve core narrative and marketing materials with latest data and wins.
• Support media and executive visibility; build relationships with political media and coordinate appearances.
• Track marketing performance and manage the marketing budget; analyze metrics to inform investments.
• Identify and manage award opportunities; plan and execute marketing events.
