Job summary

EPIC Health in Chicago, IL seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) who is bilingual in English and Polish to join a fast-paced, patient-centered team. You will examine patients, develop diagnoses, and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.

You will diagnose and manage common conditions, order diagnostics, provide preventive care, and support the clinical team in delivering high-quality healthcare. A PA license in Illinois and NCCPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills.
• Bilingual in English and Polish required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care: examine patients, obtain histories, perform physicals, assess conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Develop treatment plans and manage acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Order, administer, and interpret diagnostics (labs, EKGs, imaging) as appropriate.
• Provide preventive and holistic care, counseling on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Perform procedures within scope (injections, suturing, wound care, immunizations).
• Coordinate patient care with referrals, test results, and ongoing treatment plans.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $110,000-$150,000 based on experience + up to $9,000 in quarterly performance bonuses. Bonus eligibility and structure may be updated periodically in alignment with company programs. Sign On Bonus of $5,000 at 30 days and $5,000 at 6 months.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive patient care: Examine patients, obtain health histories, perform physical examinations, and assess patient conditions to develop appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Develop treatment plans: Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions and prescribe medications and therapies in collaboration with supervising physicians and within the scope of Illinois PA practice.
• Collaborate with physicians: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Order and interpret diagnostics: Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory work, EKGs, and imaging studies, as appropriate.
• Provide preventive and holistic care: Counsel patients on health promotion, disease prevention, growth and development, family planning, and preventive healthcare.
• Perform clinical procedures: Provide services such as injections, suturing, wound care, immunizations, and other procedures within scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient care: Follow up on patient needs, referrals, diagnostic results, and ongoing treatment plans.
• Support the clinical team: Work collaboratively with medical assistants, technicians, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care.

What You'll Bring

• 2-5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Active Illinois Physician Assistant license required.
• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Bilingual in English and Polish required.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills.
