Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Commissioning Engineer (Polish Speaker) to lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects. You will coordinate testing, manage commissioning schedules, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across Europe.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of battery storage systems, PV, inverter, switchgear for low/medium voltage.
Knowledge of VDE, IEC, IEEE standards for battery energy storage.
Willingness to continuously improve professionally.
Strong reporting and communication skills.
Fluency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for utility-scale BESS projects.
Coordinate testing, commissioning schedules, and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with Fluence construction managers, contractors, and clients; handover to O&M.
Travel extensively across Europe (60%+); lead on-site commissioning and project delivery.
