Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from AVMA-accredited school/college.
• Foreign graduates must meet AVMA/ECEVG/NAVLE requirements and English proficiency.
• Transcripts required; no education substitution for GS-14 level.

Aufgaben

• Perform equine inspections or examinations and provide expert input on findings.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve equine health, behavior, or welfare standards.
• Prepare regulatory, policy, compliance, and enforcement documentation of high complexity.
• Develop clear, science-based equine materials and deliver training reflecting current practices.
• Collaborate with equine industry groups to improve understanding of standards and regulations.
